Humpday Hootch: Party at Beer Revolution for John Martin

John Martin (far left) [brookstonbeerbulletin.com]
Tonight, Beer Revolution is throwing a party for John Martin, who opened Triple Rock Brewery in 1986 and, in the process, opened up the wide world of beer to people accustomed to drinking Bud (PBR wasn't ironic yet). Martin still oversees Triple Rock, and has added Drake's and Jupiter to his brood. Beer Revolution figured, after 25 years, it was high time to throw a party for the man.

Over 40 taps will be dedicated to beer from his breweries, including one-offs like Triple Rock White Chocolate Milk Stout and Baby Bourbon (aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels). Sounds like a great excuse to drink, especially if you aren't on day three of a juice cleanse and anxiously gnawing on pens. Save some white chocolate milk stout for me.
