How to Pronounce Designer Names

Do you ever stumble across a designer whose name you just absolutely have no clue how to say? For me, it's Prabal Gurung. Sure, there are more difficult ones, but the problem with Prabal is how often I want to talk about the spring collection. Luckily, I stumbled across this handy guide from Sydney Style for pronouncing all those tricky names. Herve Leger (air-vay la-jay)? I've been butchering it. Proenza Schouler? I've been shhh-ing when i should be sskk-ing. Are you obsessed with Thakoon's plaids? Better start remembering it's tuh-koon.

As for good ol' Prabal? Prubble ger-rung. And now we know.
