Thirsty Thursday: IPA Day

Today's IPA day! The reason you probably haven't heard anything about it is this is the celebration's inaugural year. Event founders want you to a) go out and drink those India Pale Ales and b) tell the world about it on Twitter (or really any social media app/site, i.e. Foursquare, Ratebeer, Yelp etc etc) with the #IPAday tag, all in an effort to connect craft (or mass) beer lovers across the globe.

Rosamunde's Mission location (the other one doesn't have beer, silly) will be hosting a special "hoppy hour" from 5–6pm, offering $2 off all IPA taps. If you can't make it during that hour, they'll still have eight different IPAs on tap, including favorites Green Flash and Racer Five, and my personal favorite: Flying Dog Raging Bitch.

If you don't feel like making it into the city, Beer Revolution's always got a diverse selection, and I'll be celebrating with a cold Lagunitas over at Spoontonic for a friend's birthday celebration. Really, the whole point is to grab a beer and engage in social media, so do that and you're set.
